The confrontation between Shiv Sena and BJP may intensify. On Monday, the Enforcement Directorate team raided the house of Shiv Sena MP Bhavna Gawli. The ED has taken this action in connection with a case of money laundering. The ED has taken action on the basis of the FIR registered in the police against the MP of Yavatmal-Washim. Bhawna Gawli is accused of money laundering and misusing the grant of Rs 14 crore released by the government. Earlier on Sunday itself, the ED had issued a notice to senior Shiv Sena leader and Transport Minister Anil Parab.
He has been called by the Enforcement Directorate for questioning in another case of money laundering. In the past, BJP and Shiv Sena had come face to face due to the statement made by Union Minister Narayan Rane against Uddhav Thackeray. Not only this, Narayan Rane was arrested by the police on Tuesday afternoon and late-night he was granted bail by a court in Mahad. Even after this, the situation of confrontation between both parties continued. Now the ED’s action against two Shiv Sena leaders has added to the tension between the two parties.
Earlier on Monday, Sanjay Raut took a jibe at Anil Parab for getting the ED’s notice and said that it is like a medal for us. After all, we have only got the notice, some death warrant has been received. “Our transport minister Anil Parab got a sudden notice from the ED. It’s not a big deal for us. This is not a death warrant. This is a medal for us. The ED has put the best officer in it. Such letters keep coming to those working in politics.’Regardless of the number of letters you send, lakhs of Shiv Sainiks are prepared’
He further said that the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra is exceptionally solid and the BJP can’t break it. He said, “The public authority is in power for a very long time and will finish its term. This divider won’t break, regardless of how enthusiastically you attempt. We invite love letters. Regardless of the number of letters you send, our lakhs of Shiv Sainiks are prepared.”
