Mamta’s attack on Modi government – Pegasus put everyone’s life in danger- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who is on a five-day visit to Delhi, has once again attacked the central government strongly over the Pegasus espionage case. On Wednesday, he termed the espionage issue as more serious than the Emergency. Mamta said that my phone has already been tapped. If my nephew Abhishek Mukherjee’s phone gets tapped, and I am talking to him, my phone gets tapped automatically. Pegasus has put everyone’s life in danger. A day earlier on Tuesday, Mamta had demanded an all-party meeting with PM Narendra Modi on the Pegasus spying case.
On the question of being made the face of the opposition, Mamta Banerjee said- ‘I am not a political astrologer. It depends on the situation. If someone else leads then there is no problem with that. All opposition parties should meet each other after the Parliament session. Mamta said that she would have played all over the country. It is a continuous process. When the general elections come in the year 2024, it will be Modi versus the nation. Mamta said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is a very healthy party. If the opposition is strong, history will be made. This is our hope for the 2024 elections.
‘No one will stop the political storm’
CM Mamta Banerjee said that she is an ordinary worker and wants to remain a worker. I have good relations with all opposition leaders and if a political storm hits the country, no one will be able to stop it. If the opposition parties work seriously on this, then the results can be seen in six months. Mamta said that we sent some of our people to Tripura, where they have been placed under house arrest.
