Gujarat cabinet expansion: These ministers will be included in CM Bhupendra Patel’s team- The expansion of the Gujarat cabinet will take place on Thursday afternoon. It is reported that 27 ministers can take oath during this period. Harsh Sanghvi, Raghavji Patel has got a place in the team of the new Chief Minister of the state Bhupendra Patel. Sources had informed that the Gujarat cabinet will be formed on the ‘no-repeat principle’ i.e. the old ministers will not get a chance. The swearing-in ceremony of the new ministers is to be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday. Earlier the program was to be held on Wednesday, but later it was postponed. In CM Patel’s cabinet, 7 Patels, 2 Kshatriyas, 6 OBCs, 2 Scheduled Castes, 3 STs, 1 Jain, 2 Brahmins and two women have got a place.

These ministers will be involved

Harsh Sanghvi (Majura), Juti Waghani (Bhavnagar), Naresh Patel (Gandevi), Pradeep Parmar (Asarva), Gajendra Parmar (Prantij), Nimisha Suthar (Morva Hadaf), Deva Malam Kodi (Keshod), Raghavji Patel (Jamnagar Gramya) , Arvind Raiyani, RC Makwana (Mahuva) will take oath as ministers at Raj Bhavan in the capital Gandhinagar this afternoon.

All the ministers of the Vijay Rupani cabinet have been removed. Here, before the swearing-in ceremony, Gujarat Assembly Speaker Rajendra Trivedi has also resigned. He will also be given a ministerial post under the new leadership.

According to news agency ANI, some leaders have protested over the possibility of not getting a place in the cabinet. CM Patel took oath as the 17th Chief Minister of Gujarat on Monday. Earlier, the command of the state was in the hands of Vijay Rupani. This move of the Bharatiya Janata Party is also being seen as preparation for the Gujarat Assembly elections to be held at the end of 2022. In the 2017 assembly elections, the party came to power by winning 99 out of 182 seats.

The news is constantly coming out that no old minister will get a place in the new cabinet of Gujarat government, but Pradeepsinh Jadeja, Saurabh Patel, Jayesh Radadia, Ganpat Vasava, Dilip Thakor have some chances to become ministers. At present, calls have started reaching many ministers regarding the new responsibility.
