If we believe in the former royal family of Jaipur, then they are the descendants of Lord Shri Ram, the king of Ayodhya. The former Maharaja Bhavani Singh here was from the 307th generation of Kush, son of Lord Ram. At the same time, the name of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, who established the pink city Jaipur, is mentioned in the 289th generation among the descendants of Kush. This thing is also recorded in the pages of history.

Let us tell you that 2 years ago, during the ongoing hearing regarding the Ram temple in Ayodhya, on August 9, the Supreme Court had asked – Are there any descendants of Lord Ram in Ayodhya or in the world? Then Ramlala’s lawyer had said- Don’t know. Then Diya Kumari, daughter of Maharaja Bhawani Singh of the former royal family of Jaipur, had claimed that her family was descended from the famous Kachchwaha/Kushwaha dynasty, named after Kush, the elder son of Lord Ram.

At the same time, Padmini Devi, the former queen mother of the Jaipur royal family, had said that we do not want the issue of dynasty to create obstacles. Ram is the symbol of everyone’s faith. That’s why we came up with that yes! We are their descendants and its documents are in the library of the City Palace.

Diyakumari, former princess and currently BJP MP from Rajsamand in Rajasthan, has also given many evidences of this. He showed a file, in which the names of all the ancestors of Lord Shri Ram’s lineage are recorded sequentially. In this, the name of Sawai Jai Singh is written as the 289th descendant and the name of Maharaja Bhawani Singh is written as the 307th descendant. Apart from this, there are also maps of Pothikhana.

MP Diya Kumari gave these 3 proofs

– Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh of Jaipur was the 289th descendant of Kush, the elder son of Lord Ram.

– 9 documents, 2 maps prove that Jaisinghpura and Ram’s birthplace of Ayedhya were under Sawai Jai Singh II. – In an order of 1776 it was written that the land of Jaisinghpura was under the authority of Kachchwaha.

Shri Ram was the 63rd descendant of the Kushwaha dynasty, MP Diya Kumari is the 308th generation.

According to City Palace OSD Ramu Ramdev, the Kachchhawaha dynasty is also called the Kushwaha dynasty after the name of Lord Ram’s elder son Kush. According to its genealogy, the 62nd descendant was King Dashrath, the 63rd descendant was Shri Ram, and the 64th descendant was Kush. The 289th descendants were Sawai Jai Singh, Ishwari Singh and Sawai Madhe Singh and Prithvi Singh of Amer-Jaipur. Bhawani Singh was the 307th descendant.

9 documents and 2 maps kept in Pathikhana of City Palace prove that Jaisinghpura and Ram Janmasthan of Ayedhya were under Sawai Jai Singh II. According to Annexure-2 of famous historian R Nath’s book The Jaisinghpura of Sawai Raja Jaisingh at Ayedhya, the Ramjanm Sthal temple of Ayedhya was under the control of the Kachchwaha dynasty of Jaipur.

Sawai Jai Singh also built a temple in Ayodhya in 1717.

In 1776, Nawab Wazir Asaf-ud-Daila had ordered Raja Bhawani Singh that no interference would be allowed in Ayedhya and Jaisinghpura located in Allahabad. These lands will always remain under the control of Kachchwaha. After the death of Aurangzeb, Sawai Jai Singh II bought large lands in Hindu religious areas. Ram Janmasthan temple was built in Ayedhya between 1717 and 1725.
