The auspicious time of Prana-Pratishtha Yoga of Lord Shri Ramlala is coming on Paush Shukla Kurm Dwadashi, Vikram Samvat 2080, i.e. Monday, January 22, 2024, worship has started in the temple from Tuesday.
Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Shri Ram Temple is going to be inaugurated in Ayodhya on 22nd January and preparations are going on in full swing for it. The worship process has started in Ram temple from Tuesday 16th January with penance and Karmakuti worship. A grand temple of Shri Ram has been built on 70 acres of land at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya. The temple is being built in the traditional Nagar style and will have 5 pavilions: Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Prarthana Mandap and Kirtan Mandap. Pran Pratistha and related events in Shri Ram Mandir
Event date and venue: The auspicious time of Lord Shri Ramlala’s Pran-Pratishtha Yoga is coming on Paush Shukla Kurm Dwadashi, Vikram Samvat 2080, i.e. Monday, January 22, 2024.
Classical method and pre-ceremony traditions: Following all the classical traditions, the ceremony of consecration will be conducted in Abhijeet Muhurta. The auspicious rituals before Pran Pratistha will start from tomorrow i.e. January 16, 2024, which will continue till January 21, 2024.
January 16 : The host appointed by the Temple trust will conduct the atonement ceremony. ‘Dashvidh’ bath will happen on the banks of river Saryu. The rituals would include Vishnu worship and Godan.
January 17: The idol of Lord Ram in his child-like form (Ram Lalla) will be taken in a procession, with devotees carrying Saryu water in Mangal Kalash.
January 18: Rituals including Ganesh Ambika Puja, Varun Puja, Matrika Puja, Brahmin Varan, Vastu Puja etc. will take place
January 19: Agni Sthapana, Navagraha Sthapana and Havan will be done.
January 20: The sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Temple will be washed with the holy water of Saryu followed by rituals including Vaastu Shanti and Annadhivas.
January 21: The deity of Ram Lalla will get a divine bath with 125 urns. The ritual of Shayadhivas will also happen.
January 22: Worship of the deity of Ram Lalla will be done in morning and it will consecrated in Mrigashira Nakshatra in the afternoon.
Adhivas process and Acharya: Generally there are seven adhivas in the prana pratistha ceremony and minimum three adhivas are done in practice. There will be 121 Acharyas who will coordinate, support and guide all the processes of the ritual of the ceremony. Shri Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid will monitor, coordinate and guide all the processes, and Shri Laxmikant Dixit of Kashi will be the Chief Acharya.
