In view of the danger of corona virus, the Government of India has increased the pace of vaccination campaign. Now vaccination is being opened for other categories as well. Today, vaccination will be started at work place in India. Apart from government and private hospitals, there will now be a vaccine in the office as well. In view of the second wave of corona virus, the government has taken this decision to increase the speed of vaccination and to get more and more people vaccinated.
The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has asked states to arrange for vaccination facilities in both private and government offices, provided there are at least 100 people who can be vaccinated. The ministry said in a statement on Wednesday, states have been asked to prepare for the launch of private and public sector employers and workplace vaccinations. It is advisable to initiate appropriate consultation with vaccination management.
Money will be charged for Kovid-19 vaccination at private workplaces. It has been priced at Rs 250 per dose, while sessions will be free in government offices organized by the District Health Officers. This will be like the vaccine is being given free in government hospitals and money is being taken in private hospitals.

All ‘Work Place Vaccination Centers’ have to be registered in the CoWin portal as Government or Private Covid Vaccination Centers (CVC).
– The central government has changed the place of vaccination only, the rules will remain the same, ie the category for which vaccination has been opened by the government, the offices will also be vaccinated accordingly. Everyone above 45 years of age is being vaccinated. A list of office people will have to be created and put on the Co-Win app.
The Ministry of Health stated that only one type of vaccine would be given in these sessions, so as to avoid mixing the vaccine types in the first and second doses of the beneficiary.
– The full list of beneficiaries available in CoWin will be visible to all verifiers and vaccinators, with the option of on-the-spot registration also available.
– For verification, will be done by (Immunization Officer-1) preferably using Aadhaar card. IDs other than Aadhaar, EPIC, passport, driving license, PAN card, smart card issued by RGI under NPR and pension documents with photograph can be used.
– If you work in a government office and a vaccine camp is being organized on behalf of the same, then the vaccine will be provided free of cost. But if you work in a private company, then you will have to pay 250 rupees per dose. However, many companies are getting vaccinations for their workers for free.
According to Guidelines, wherever the vaccine will be placed, there will be people from the local health department, a person from the office will be made the nodal officer. It is necessary to have a waiting room, vaccination room, observation room. In a day, only 100 people can be vaccinated.
