BSP supremo Mayawati said on Monday that a conspiracy is being hatched to make the Bahujan Samaj Party weak before the upcoming assembly elections in 2022. He called upon the workers that everyone should reach out to the public without paying heed to any rumour and get ready to form the government in 2022. Mayawati also said that the BSP will not form an alliance with anyone in the upcoming UP assembly elections but will fight alone.
Addressing the press conference, Mayawati said that the party will not contest the election of district panchayat president in UP. Therefore, party workers should prepare for the assembly elections without wasting their energy and time in the election of the District Panchayat President. Mayawati said that if the elections were fair, we might have fought, but it is not so. There is a lot of rigging going on in the elections. He said that no one was rigged in the elections held in the BSP government, big or small. Election rigging is not good for democracy.
Appeal to form government in 2022
Mayawati appealed to the workers that if the government is formed in 2022, all the district panchayat presidents will themselves join the BSP.
