Punjab: Indian Air Force fighter plane Mig-21 crash, pilot dies: Mig-21 fell into the fields about 500 meters from the houses of Langiana village at around 11:15 pm. The pilot died in the accident. After 4 hours of effort, the body of pilot Abhinav Chaudhary was recovered from the fields.
An IAF fighter aircraft Mig-21 Crashed In Punjab (IAF Fighter Aircraft Mig-21 Crashed In Punjab) crashed in Moga (Punjab), Punjab, late Thursday at around 11:15 am. The fighter aircraft crashed near Langeana, a village in Moga. Pilot Abhinav Chaudhary died in this crash.
MiG-21 was on a routine training
Please tell that this MiG-21 flew from Suratgarh airbase of Rajasthan. MiG-21 was returning to Suratgarh after practising in Inayatpura. The pilot was training routine. On receiving the news of the accident, the Air Force teams reached the spot from Bathinda Airforce Station and Halwara Airforce Station.

MiG-21 fell into the fields about 500 meters from the houses of Langiana village at around 11:15 pm. The pilot died in the accident. After 4 hours of effort, the body of pilot Abhinav Chaudhary was recovered from the fields. However, there was no loss of any kind in the village due to plane crash.
SP Head Quarters Gurdeep Singh said that a message was received from the control room of an aircraft crash near village Langiana in Moga district. At the same time, Moga’s SSP Harmanbir Singh Gill and all the top police officers reached the spot and formed separate teams to find the pilot. He said that teams of Bathinda Airforce and Halwara Airforce had also reached the spot, who started looking for Pilot Abhinav Chaudhary.
He said that after nearly 4 hours of effort, the body of pilot Abhinav Chaudhary was found from the fields. SP headquarters said that Abhinav Chaudhary had flown in from Suratgarh to Inayatpura airbase of Jagras for practice. After that he was going back to Suratgarh, then this incident happened. Abhinav was a trainee pilot.
