President’s Rule imposed in Jammu Kashmir from Midnight: December 19 (IANS)After the completion of six months governor’s rule in Jammu and Kashmir, President’s rule will be implemented from midnight on Wednesday. Following the withdrawal of support from the Mehbooba Mufti-led coalition government in June, there has been a political crisis in Jammu and Kashmir  President Ram Nath kovind signed a supplementary announcement and paved the way for the Central Government.

President’s Rule imposed in Jammu Kashmir from Midnight, It is noteworthy that in the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central cabinet had decided on Monday the report of Governor of the Governor Satyapal Malik, who recommended the introduction of President’s Rule in Jammu and Kashmir. After the supplementary of Presidental rule, the Parliament will use the powers of Legislative of the state or it will be used under its authority. There is a separate constitution of Jammu and Kashmir.

Under Article 92 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, there is a six-month governor’s rule mandatory. Under this, all the powers of the legislature are with the governor.

On November 21 the governor dissolved the 87-member state assembly after the PDP, the Congress and its arch rivals had claimed to form the government, backed by the National Conference.

Two-member people’s conference led by Sajad Lone also claimed to have formed a government with 25 members of BJP and 18 other unknown members.

The governor had dissolved the assembly by referring to the lack of horse trading and stability to form a government in the form of reasons.
