Petrol price down to 15-month low:– For the first time in the year 2019, the prices of petrol and diesel have increased marginally in whole of northern India including Delhi-NCR. According to the companies, after the increase in oil prices, petrol in Delhi is sold at Rs 68.50 a liter, diesel Rs 62.24 per liter. Prior to this, the price of petrol in Delhi was 68.29 rupees on Sunday. At the same time, the price of petrol in the country’s capital Mumbai is 74.16 and the diesel price is 65.12 rupees per liter. According to the IndianOil website, on Sunday, diesel prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai were recorded at Rs 62.16, Rs 63.93, Rs 65.04 and Rs 65.62 per liter respectively. Prices of petrol remained around Rs 68.29, Rs 70.43, 73.95 and Rs 70.85 per liter respectively in all four metros.

What is fastag?
Fastag is an electronic chip, which can be painted on the sticker on the vehicle. As soon as this tag comes under the radius of the radio frequency being used to read it, all its information is recorded in a system. For instance, the vehicle equipped with a fast-fast passes toll plaza with this facility, the toll barrier opens automatically for it. The reason for this is that the Fastag Reading system of toll plaza automatically deducts the amount of toll from the balance recorded in that fast. Apart from this, any kind of rebate (if any such offer is applicable) is given to the benefit of the Fastag along with time saving. Fastag can be recharged according to convenience. There is usually facility of special lanes for such vehicles on toll plaza, so vehicles do not have to wait too long.
