Supreme Court puts Center in dock in Pegasus espionage case
The Supreme Court said that every citizen of the country should be protected from violation of their right to privacy. The Pegasus espionage charge is of major ramifications in nature. The court should find out the truth.
The court put the Center in the dock and said that raising national security concerns, the government cannot get free passes every time.
There is no universal ban against judicial review. The Center should have justified its stand here. The court should not have tried to be a mute spectator.

Supreme Court constitutes committee on Pegasus case
The Supreme Court has constituted a committee in the Pegasus case, which includes Justice RV Ravindran, former Supreme Court judge Alok Joshi, former IPS Sandeep Oberoi and three technical members. Dr. Prabaharan P., Professor (School of Engineering), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri, Kerala. 3 – Dr. Ashwin Anil Gumaste, Associate Professor (Computer Science and Engineering), Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Maharashtra.
