NIRF Ranking 2021: Education Minister released- IIT Madras is the best educational institute- Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday released the NIRF Rankings (National Institutional Ranking Framework) for the year 2021. This year also IIT Madras has been adjudged the best educational institute in the country in the overall category. While IISc Bangalore is at second place and IIT Bombay at third place. In the best university category, IISc Bangalore is at the first, JNU second and BHU third. The category of top research institutes has also been included in the ranking framework this year. In this category, this year IISc Bangalore stood first, IIT Madras second and IIT Bombay third.
