New Delhi- After passing the pleasant month of May, now in June, people living in Delhi-NCR are getting hot. On Sunday, due to the increase in temperature in Delhi-NCR, the heat increased significantly. Alam was that most of the people residing in Noida to Delhi spent their nights changing their side. Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 38.1 degree Celsius on Sunday. The Meteorological Department said that it is two degrees below the average.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted partly cloudy sky with light rain on Monday. In such a situation, the residents of the capital are expected to get relief from the heat. Today the maximum temperature is likely to be around 40 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is 25 degree Celsius. The IMD said the minimum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 24 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season’s average. The humidity level was recorded at 40 per cent at 5 pm.
Order withdrawn after change in weather
The Meteorological Department tweeted and said, ‘In the next 2 hours, there is a forecast of rain with thunderstorms in Safdarjung, Chhatarpur, Deramandi etc. areas of South Delhi.’ The Meteorological Department had also talked about strong winds at a speed of 15-30 km on Sunday night. Earlier, the Meteorological Department had predicted rain in areas like Kashmir Gate, Civil Lines, Delhi University etc., however, this order was withdrawn after there was no significant change in the weather.
There will be a decrease in temperature from June 11
From June 8 to 10, the maximum temperature will be recorded around 41 degree Celsius. The minimum temperature can also rise to 28 °C. From June 11, the temperature will start decreasing again. As per the outlook for June 12, there is a possibility of light rain. Due to which the temperature will once again come down to around 38 degrees.
