Modi Cabinet Expansion: This week may be the expansion of Modi cabinet- Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet will be expanded this week and 20 to 22 ministers can take oath. According to information received from sources, the cabinet may be expanded between July 6 and 8. The Union Cabinet currently consists of 53 ministers and may have 81 members after expansion. Coalition parties can also be a part of Modi cabinet this time and apart from JDU, LJP, leaders can take oath from Apna Dal quota.
Who can become a minister from which state?
Uttar Pradesh: Three communication ministers from Uttar Pradesh will be included in the Modi cabinet. Anupriya Patel from Apna Dal can also get a place in the cabinet.
Bihar: Two to three leaders of Bihar can be included in the cabinet. In this, the names of BJP’s Sushil Kumar Modi, JDU’s RCP Singh and LJP’s Pashupati Paras are ahead.
Madhya Pradesh: One to two ministers from Madhya Pradesh will be included in the cabinet. The names of Jyotiraditya Scindia and Rakesh Singh are included in this.
Maharashtra: One to two ministers from Maharashtra can be included in the Modi cabinet. It includes the name of Narayan Rane.
Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh: One minister each from Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh can get a place in the cabinet.
Rajasthan: One minister from Rajasthan can also be included in the Modi cabinet.
Assam: One to two ministers from Assam can be included in the cabinet. In this, the name of former Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal is at the fore.
West Bengal: Two leaders of West Bengal can be given place in the Modi cabinet. In this, the names of BJP MP Shantanu Thakur and Nisith Pramanik are coming forward. Apart from this, a minister from Odisha can be included in the cabinet.
