J&K: These faces will attend the Prime Minister’s all-party meeting on Jammu and Kashmir- An important meeting is going to be held in the capital of New Delhi on Thursday regarding Jammu and Kashmir. Preparations have been completed at the Prime Minister’s residence for the all-party meeting of PM Narendra Modi. After the removal of Article 370 and 35A from Jammu and Kashmir, this is the first meeting of the Central Government with the political parties there, on which the eyes of the whole country are. Top-level leadership of the central government, as well as prominent political and administrative personalities of Jammu and Kashmir, will attend this meeting.

All party meeting led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi

The all-party meeting to be held at the Prime Minister’s residence from around 3 pm will be held under the leadership of PM Modi. In this meeting, there is every possibility of intense discussion on preparing the roadmap for the future of Jammu and Kashmir.

Home Minister Amit Shah

Home Minister Amit Shah is one of the main architects of the abrogation of the provisions of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. The agenda of the meeting is not yet clear. Everyone has been told only possible details about the meeting.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh

A strong leader and currently the Defense Minister of the country, Rajnath Singh is one of the main links of this meeting. Recently, Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also had a meeting with Rajnath. A high alert has been issued from Jammu and Kashmir to the border regarding the all-party meeting.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha

Manoj Sinha, the current Surveyor and Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Administration will attend this meeting. Manoj Sinha recently held a meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and senior officers of Jammu and Kashmir in Delhi.

Ajit Doval

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval will also be a part of this important meeting. Recently, in the meeting held on Jammu and Kashmir, many big faces including officers associated with security agencies, officers of the central government, DGP of Jammu and Kashmir, Director General of CRPF had participated. The script for the meeting to be held on June 24 was written in this meeting itself.

Farooq Abdullah

Invitations were sent to four former chief ministers of Jammu and Kashmir to attend the meeting. Senior leader and former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah has reached Delhi for this important meeting. Farooq and his son Omar Abdullah were also under house arrest after the abrogation of Article 370.

Ghulam Nabi Azad

Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad will speak on the issues of the state in the all-party meeting. In the meeting, there was also a discussion between party President Sonia Gandhi, former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Union Ministers Ghulam Nabi Azad and P. Chidambaram regarding the agenda of Congress party.

Mehbooba Mufti

Mehbooba Mufti, who once worked as the head of the government with the Bharatiya Janata Party in Jammu and Kashmir, is now going to talk to PM Narendra Modi once again. Mehbooba Mufti was under house arrest for a total of 434 days. Mehbooba was among the leaders whose release was the last. She has said that she has come to Delhi with an open mind for talks.

Altaf Bukhari

Former PDP MLA and Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari has welcomed this all-party meeting of PM Modi. He has been advocating to find a way to solve the problem of Jammu and Kashmir within the country itself. Businessman-turned-politician Bukhari is counted among the richest politicians in the Valley.

Nirmal Singh

BJP leader Nirmal Singh was the Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. He was also the last Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly. Nirmal Singh has clearly said that during the meeting, any issue related to the restoration of Article 370 by the Gupkar alliance will be opposed by the BJP.

Mohammad Yusuf Tarigami is the leader of the Communist Party of Kashmir Valley Marxist. Tarigami, a four-time MLA from Kulgam seat, has been the only communist MLA from the Valley. He is also the spokesperson of the Gupkar alliance. He has termed former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s stand on Kashmir as more liberal and humanitarian than Narendra Modi’s.

Jitendra Singh

Union Minister of State and MP from Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir Jitendra Singh will attend this meeting. He is a big leader of BJP belonging to Jammu region. The responsibility of representing the BJP during the meeting will be on Jitendra’s shoulders.

Kavinder Gupta

BJP leader Kavinder Gupta was the Deputy Chief Minister in Mehbooba Mufti and BJP coalition government. Kavinder had welcomed the decision to end the Durbar move between Srinagar and Jammu. He had said that since the abrogation of Article 370, incidents of bandh and stone pelting have stopped. The situation has changed in 70 years.

Sajjad Gani Loan

Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference (JKPC) President Sajjad Gani Lone was earlier part of the Gupkar alliance but later parted ways. He has said that during the meeting he will raise the issue of a democratic solution to the political deadlock, the suffering of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Sajjad is the son of former separatist leader Abdul Gani Lone. The JKPC was also involved in the PDP and BJP coalition government. Sajjad had also become a minister from the BJP quota.

Ajay Bhalla

Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla will be a part of this important meeting. The Center is keeping an eye on the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the Home Secretary himself is taking updates from time to time. During the meeting regarding Corona, he has recently described Jammu and Kashmir as a role model for other union territories of the country.
