Patanjali tested coronil on fish
Patanjali has tested the coronil on zebra fish (a species of fish) found in the rivers of Uttarakhand. Dr. Ajay Khanna, Secretary, IMA Uttarakhand has claimed this.
He said that Patanjali himself has given this information in a research paper published in the journal Phytomedicine.
He said that according to the rules, the drug tested on fish cannot be used on humans. Said that even the fish was not tested properly.
The fish should have been given coronil after infecting the corona. So that, to know whether it is having any effect on the virus or not, but it was not done.
The controversy did not stop even after Dr Harsh Vardhan’s intervention
Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan had written a letter to Baba Ramdev on this matter asking him to withdraw his statement against allopathy and doctors. Soon after, Baba Ramdev withdrew his statement. However, IMA and doctors are not satisfied with Baba Ramdev’s clarification and the controversy continues.
