Corona eclipse in all RTO of UP, driving license will not be made till May 1- In view of the increasing cases of corona infection and infected personnel in the transport offices, the department has banned the working of driving license in all the RTOs and assistant divisional transport offices across the state from 23 April i.e. Thursday to May 1. During this time no driving license will be issued in all RTO offices across the state. Instructions to this effect have been sent by Transport Commissioner Dhiraj Sahu to all the RTO offices of the state.
Not to be disturbed, applicants will be rescheduled, DL and slots will come, message: Applicants who have booked slots for DL related work from April 23 to May 1 for the work related to DL, renewal, change of address etc. Will go. The time slots will be rescheduled after May 15. Their message will be sent to DL applicants on different dates. Do not worry, the applicant will get a message on their mobile number. Along with this, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has extended the validity of all driving license holders till 30 June 2021.
There are 1000 to 1100 licenses issued daily in the capital: More than one thousand licenses are issued daily from the Transportnagar RTO office and ARTO office. These include 450 daily licenses, 180 permanent license, 150 renewal and duplicate license from the RTO office located in Transport Nagar and three hundred licenses from the Deva Road ARTO office.
