Attack on Union Minister V. Muralitharan's convoy, TMC accused

In West Bengal, the ongoing violence since the results of the assembly elections are not taking the name of the end. Union Minister V. Muralitharan’s convoy was attacked in West Midnapore amidst a four-member team set up by the Union Home Ministry to investigate it. Putting a video of this on Twitter, he has said that Trinamool goons attacked my convoy and hurt personal staff and broke the windows of the car. On the other hand, BJP President JP Nadda is on a tour of Bengal and is meeting the relatives of BJP workers killed in the violence.

The central team, which has ruled Bengal, has been ordered by the Ministry of Home Affairs to submit a report after taking stock of the situation. Apart from this, the ministry has also sought a report from Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar about the law and order in the state. Meanwhile, violence continues in the state.

I am cutting my journey short. ‘ Meanwhile, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has also commented on the attack on Minister V. Muralitharan. Prakash Javadekar said, “If the minister’s convoy is attacked, then who is safe in Bengal?” It is state sponsored violence. We condemn violence in Bengal. Strict steps should be taken to punish those who spread violence.
