Imran Khan Sui raises roles in Jinnah’s birth anniversary in India
Describing India’s political spectrum, Prime Minister Imran Khan, accusing the minorities of persecution in India, said that he will ensure that Hindus and Christians are considered equal citizens in their Muslim-majority nation.
Taking on Twitter to celebrate the birth anniversary of Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Khan said that he “struggled” for a different nation of Pakistan, after realizing that “Muslims will not be treated as equal citizens by Hindu citizens”. He said that he will ensure the equality of religious minorities in Pakistan, “Contrary to what is happening in India”.
Khan made a similar comment after the comment of actor Naseeruddin Shah on Bulandshahr violence. Shah had said that he is afraid of the future of his children in a country which values the death of a cow more than the death of a policeman.
After the controversy erupted, Shah himself targeted himself on Pakistan’s PM. “I think Mr. Khan should be talking in his country rather than commenting on those issues which do not concern him. We are in democracy for 70 years and we know how we have to take care of ourselves,” The Indian Express has said to the Shah.
The BJP, whose leaders had rejected Shah’s statement, also said that his country had become ‘terrorists’ and India should not have given the lecture.
