Lev Landau’s father was an engineer from the profession, who worked in the local oil industry, while his mother was a doctor. Lev had been smarter in studies since childhood. He learned definition only at the age of 12 and at the age of 13 he had come to Integration. Landau obtained a degree in graduation in 1920 at the age of just 13.
Lev’s parents thought that Leave University was too small to go, so he was sent to Baku Economical Technical School for a year. In 1922 he was sent to Baku State University, where he started studying in the Physical and Mathematical Department and the Department of Chemistry.
