America has taken an important decision amidst Corona havoc all over the world. US health officials say that fully vaccinated Americans no longer need to wear masks outside unless they are in a large crowd of strangers. In addition, they can also go without covering the outside face in some cases.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released the latest guidelines on Tuesday. It said that corona virus outbreaks in the US are decreasing in general. For the past year, the CDC has been advising most Americans to wear masks if they are six feet away from each other.
The CDC’s stance has changed when more than half of adults in the US have received at least one dose of the Corona virus vaccine and more than a third have undergone complete vaccination. Dr. Mike Sag, an infectious disease specialist at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, welcomed the change, saying it was a return to freedom. This is our normal life.
