India at AFC Asian Cup

After this India will play from the UAE on January 10 and will close their round-robin fixtures on 14th January with a competition against Bahrain.

The Asian Cup will be held in the UAE from January 5 to February 1, 2019. For the continental glory, it is decided to be the largest in the Asian Cup tournament history with 24 teams. It used to be 16 teams from 2005 to 2015.

The total prize money for the tournament is the US $ 14,800,000. The winner of the tournament will receive $ 5 million, runner-up $ 3 million, and the losing semi-finalist will receive $ 1 million. All 24 participating teams will also get $ 200,000.
