    The new generation Maruti Suzuki Celerio will be launched in the Indian market tomorrow. This entry-level hatchback was first launched in 2014. After this, it was upgraded in the year 2018. The hatchback competes directly with vehicles like Hyundai Santro and Tata Tiago. Please tell that the booking of the car has already started. Customers can book this hatchback car for Rs 11,000.

    Will get ‘best mileage’

    Maruti did not share many details related to the car, but it has definitely claimed that it will be ‘the most fuel efficient petrol car in the country’. According to a report, Maruti Suzuki Celerio will deliver mileage of up to 26 kmpl. It will be based on the company’s Heartect platform, which is also found in hatchbacks like Swift and Baleno. Due to this platform, the new Celerio can be longer, wider and higher than before.

    This will be the design and features

    Talking about the design, some changes will be seen in the exterior of the new Celerio. Looking at the teaser and spy shots, it is known that the front face will be different from the current model. It will get redesigned bumpers, oval shaped grille with chrome bar and more attractive air intake. The new Maruti Celerio will also get a redesigned dashboard, a 7-inch touchscreen system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a push start/stop button with idle start/stop function.

    Engine and possible price

    The 1.0-litre K10C K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT petrol engine can be given in the new Celerio. It will be able to generate power output of 83hp and peak torque of 115 Nm. Both manual and automatic transmissions will be offered with the engine. This engine is more powerful and fuel efficient than the current Celerio. Talking about the price, the new Celerio can be launched at an initial price of Rs 4.50 lakh.
