Apart from Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, who was arrested, has also applied for bail. Arbaaz’s lawyer has appealed for an urgent hearing. Aryan’s lawyer Satish Man Shinde sought to hear on the bail application. NCB has sought at least a week’s time to file its reply. NCB said, ‘NCB said that we have arrested 20 people. The investigation is still on, it will take time to file the reply.
On the contention of the NCB, the Additional Sessions Judge has directed the NCB to prepare its reply within two days. Now in the hearing of October 13, NCB will have to file its reply in the matter of Aryan’s bail. Earlier, Aryan Khan’s bail application was rejected by the court of Additional Metropolitan Magistrate. Now if Aryan does not get bail even in the sessions court, then Shahrukh’s lawyers will have to approach the High Court. Judge VV Patil is hearing Aryan’s bail in the sessions court.
Senior advocate Amit Desai argued on behalf of Aryan Khan in the court and Satish Manshinde was also present with him. Special Public Prosecutor AM Chimalkar argued on behalf of NCB and Special Solicitor General Advait Sethna was also present in the court.
