74 years old Randhir Kapoor hospitalized, Property dispute of younger brother Rajiv- Bollywood actor Randhir Kapoor has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. According to sources, 74-year-old Randhir is infected with the coronavirus. Not much information has been revealed about his condition so far. The Kapoor family is also in discussion these days over the property dispute of the late Rajiv Kapoor ((Randhir’s younger brother). In fact, the divorced Rajiv has no children and the matter of his property is in court. On Monday, the Bombay High Court ordered Randhir Kapoor and Reema to demand an undertaking from Jain, in which she is asked to search and submit Rajiv’s Divorce Decree.
Randhir is Kareena and Karisma’s father.
Randhir Kapoor is the father of Bollywood actresses Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. Randhir married Bollywood actress Babita in 1971. Later both of them did not makeup and they started living separately. However, they did not get divorced. Randhir-Babita played each other with all the responsibility from the upbringing of the children.
Randhir worked in many films
Born on 15 February 1947, Randhir Kapoor ventured into the film world as a child artist in the film ‘Shree 420’ (1955). He then acted in several films and also gained recognition as a filmmaker. Randhir Kapoor’s important films include ‘Kal Aaj Kal and Kal’, ‘Jawani Deewani’, ‘Rampur Ka Laxman’ and ‘Chacha Bhatija’.
Lost three siblings in 16 months
Three of the five children of Raj Kapoor, known as Showman, have passed away in the last 16 months. Of the three brothers, only Randhir is left. His middle brother Rishi Kapoor died on 30 April 2020 at HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai after fighting cancer for two years. Younger brother Rajiv passed away on 9 February 2021 from a heart attack. Talking of sisters, only Reema Jain is left. One sister Ritu Nanda died on 14 January 2020 in Delhi. She was suffering from cancer.
