Britain’s intelligence agency warns, the danger of attacks like 9/11 is looming over the world- The Taliban government of Afghanistan can become a problem for the whole world including America, Britain. The threat of terrorist attacks like 9/11 has also arisen from this government. Ken McCallum, the head of Britain’s intelligence agency MI-5, has warned the world that al-Qaeda-style attacks could accelerate. He said that the Taliban’s occupation of Afghanistan could push the world towards a new crisis. The seizure of power by the Taliban has boosted the morale of terrorists and means that the threat of terrorist attacks like 9/11 will remain.

Terrorists are encouraged

Ken McCallum said that after the withdrawal of NATO troops in Afghanistan, the Taliban’s occupation has encouraged the terrorists and therefore there is a need to be more vigilant. In an interview to the BBC on the anniversary of 9/11, he also told that Britain’s police and intelligence agencies have foiled 31 terrorist attacks in the last four years. McCullum said, ‘The big concern is coming from Afghanistan, terrorists will be motivated to do something big and can carry out 9/11 attacks with a well-planned conspiracy’.

Extremist attacks have increased in the UK

He said that the Taliban’s coming to power has boosted the morale of the extremists overnight. So we have to be cautious. For persuasive terrorism, which we have faced in the last 5-10 years, there is also the threat of possible Al Qaeda style attacks that we usually saw a few years ago. Let us tell you that Britain has seen many attacks by extremists inspired by Islamic thinking in the last two decades. The deadliest terror attack in the country occurred on 7 July 2005 when four suicide bombers targeted metro trains and a bus in London, killing 52 passengers.

US experts also expressed apprehension

McCallum said British authorities have foiled 31 attacks by Islamist and far-right extremists in the past four years. He said it is difficult to say whether Britain is more secure or less secure 20 years after the September 11, 2001 attacks in the US. Significantly, the Taliban government includes many such faces, whom the world knows as dreaded terrorists. America is also worried that terrorists can hatch a big conspiracy against it. US experts have also warned the government in this regard.
