Bengal split in BJP after Mukul Roy joined TMC? 51 MLAs out of 77 to Raj Bhavan- After the assembly elections in West Bengal, news of a big break in BJP is coming to the fore. On Monday, when the Leader of Opposition in the Bengal Legislative Assembly, Suvendu Adhikari reached to meet Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar, only 51 out of 77 MLAs could accompany him to the Raj Bhavan. This entire development has started giving indications of some rebellion in the state BJP.

Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Suvendu Adhikari visits Governor to talk about the violence that took place after the declaration of the state’s election results. Along with the BJP leader, a total of 51 MLAs who won the elections on Bharatiya Janata Party ticket also reached the state. However, the total strength of the party in the assembly is 77. These MLAs submitted a memorandum to the Governor on the incidents of violence.

News of BJP leaders being in touch with TMC

Mukul Roy, who left TMC and joined BJP, has recently again joined with Mamta Banerjee. There are reports of some more Bharatiya Janata Party leaders being in touch with TMC. In such a situation, in view of all these situations, it is being said that it is possible that many BJP MLAs may soon become a part of Trinamool Congress. The BJP, however, is ruling out the possibility of any such rebellion. But the party did not react to the absence of MLAs who did not accompany Suvendu.
