“Piaggio One” electric scooter coming to compete with Bajaj Chetak, know what is the report- Italian two-wheeler manufacturer Piaggio has officially introduced its new electric scooter. Which is called “Piaggio One”. This new e-scooter has been revealed through the social media platform – TikTok. This suggests that Piaggio One will target a younger audience. Let’s say that the company has revealed the features and style of the new electric scooter.
However, the technical details of this scooter are likely to be revealed on 28 May 2021 at the Beijing Motor Show. The point to note here is that the Piaggio One is the second electric scooter of the brand, which will be included in the all-electric Vespa Electrica. Electrika was first showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo last year.
The Piaggio One all-electric scooter offered by the company is a lightweight and easy-to-drive model that shares the features of other Piaggio Group scooters. The company claims that the Piaggio One scooter will be easy and fun to ride, which customers will love. The Piaggio One comes with a host of technical features, which include a digital color instrument panel with a sensor, full LED lighting, a keyless start system, wide seats for a comfortable ride, good storage under the seat, low Seat, flat room-like footplate and pull-out footpegs.
The Piaggio One scooter is designed in a two-tone color scheme. It gets disc brakes standard for braking with 10-inch alloy wheels. The Piaggio One will be offered in several versions that will offer different categories such as mopeds and motorcycles. The lithium-ion battery that is used in it can be easily removed to recharge at home or office.
The Piaggio One e-scooter will make its official debut on May 28, 2021 at the 2021 Beijing Motor Show. Which will be put up for sale in select markets by June this year. For information, the Piaggio Group is selling only Vespa and Aprilia brands in India.
