The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) can cancel the class XII examination. According to media reports, the Ministry of Education is reviewing the current situation caused by the coronavirus and the board is considering cancelling the exam. It is being told that the cancellation of the board examination can be announced by the CBSE within the next two weeks. It is being reviewed. Talking to an English newspaper, a senior education ministry official said that the class XII exam is likely to be cancelled. He says that given the current situation arising out of Corona, there is a possibility of cancelling the examination altogether. CBSE will review the situation and possibly an alternative evaluation plan will be prepared for the students of class XII.
Another senior officer of the Board has also agreed that the present situation caused by the coronavirus is very bad and in such a situation it is not possible to conduct the board examination. However, the final decision on this will be taken only after a review in June, he said. He said that the present situation is not such that the examination can be held at any time. Significantly, due to the second wave of Coronavirus, the CBSE board has cancelled the Class X board examination. Now students of class X will be passed through internal assessment. The result of class 10 will also be released by the board on 20 June. However, no decision has been issued by the board regarding the cancellation of the class XII examination yet.
Explain that along with the CBSE Board, the ICSE Board has also cancelled the Class X examination. However, the board has not yet taken any decision on the Class XII examination. At the same time, many state boards have also announced the cancellation of the class X examination to pass the students through internal assessment due to an increase in infection rate due to coronavirus. Many experts also believe that the situation arising out of the coronavirus is not such that a class XII board examination can be conducted. In such a situation, the board should keep Plan B ready for the twelfth examination.
