Remdesivir injection will be given free to patients in private hospitals-On Monday, Chief Minister Yogi issued a special order for the District Magistrate and CMO of all the districts to view the increasing need for Remdesivir injection for Corona infected patients. He said that private hospitals will now provide life-saving medicines free of cost to the infected patients.

With the increasing outbreak of the Corona epidemic in Uttar Pradesh, the number of infected patients is increasing continuously. Because of the need for Remdesivir Injection, the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath has issued an order for the District Magistrate and Chief Medical Officer of all the districts on Monday. As per the orders, now Remdesivir injection used for the survival of patients suffering from corona infection in private hospitals will be given free of cost.
The private hospital will arrange medicines for patients themselves
On Monday, in the team-11 meeting organized by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, several important orders were issued regarding Remdisivir injection. The Chief Minister said that private hospitals of the state will manage medicines on their own with the help of the market and companies for the needy affected by the infection. In the event of non-availability of medicines or when it is highly necessary for a patient, the DM and CMO concerned will provide a limited number of free medicines to the needy patient based on a prescription issued by a private hospital.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi said there is no shortage of life-saving medicine like Remedisvir in the state. With this, the police will have to maintain the black marketing of drugs and the eyes. It is the priority of the government to protect the lives of infected patients, for this life-saving medicines like Remdisvir Injection will be supplied by the Uttar Pradesh Medical Supplies Corporation Limited in government and private hospitals.
